Torc Waterfall and Muckross House Farm

We drove to Torc Waterfall and did a rainy little hike. Unfortunately for Doris, this would be the beginning of a series of uphill hikes in the coming weeks. And unfortunately for me, this was perhaps around the time that my toes started to cause me serious discomfort.

After the waterfall, we had planned to go see Muckross House, as we’d heard it was definitely something worth checking out while in the area. However once we found out it was just an old house full of old stuff, we opted to visit the adjacent farm instead. It was totally the right call.

Doris thought of herself as a bit of a Doctor Doolittle. She thought she could pick up ducks and chickens, but she failed time and time again.

Doris gracefully walked across this little ravine with ease. Uri, not so much. The fool slipped and totally got his pants wet. We laughed at him. It was great. I only wish I’d recorded it so you could all share in our joy.
