Trevor and Uri arrive in Koyasan, where they quickly befriended a fellow traveller, Slawomir, at their hostel. Uri takes a calligraphy class, and then Trevor, Uri, and Slawomir go on a night tour of Okunoin Cemetery.
Trevor and Uri enjoy their first day of exploration in Nara, a town that is overrun with adorable and friendly deer. They visit Kofuki-ji and Todai-ji, two of the many beautiful temples Nara has to offer.

Trevor and Uri complete the circular route in Hakone via train, cablecar, ropeway, boat cruise, and a hike. Then they meet their new favourite person in all of Japan.
